THEIR NEED
The cheese factory’s production department was seeing an increase in the number of breakdowns in their production equipment, causing subsequent production interruptions and losses. The cheese factory therefore asked for our help to change from reactive maintenance to a predictive approach with greater control.
OUR SOLUTION
We suggested that the cheese factory adopt a series of predictive techniques to reduce unscheduled interruptions to production. We suggested conducting careful analysis of their maintenance activities to fully understand which procedures were running well and efficiently and, conversely, which offered room for improvement.
We did not just detect and report potential breakdowns, but we also used this information to diagnose the source of the problem and to employ the necessary technologies so it would not happen again.
